Albinelli wines like Italian philosophy of pleasure and an essential part of communication, delicious cuisine and atmosphere

Origin

Love for family, love for country, love for wine

Albinelli – one of those names in Italy that originates in the Middle Ages and clearly shows the family comes from Emilia Romagna region.

The most famous market in Modena bears the same name. Italian merchants have run their business here since medieval times. Wine, vinegar, cheeses, dried meat – they sold these products over land and sea to other regions and closest countries and brought spirits, oil and wines to Emilia Romagna.

Modenas’ merchants succeeded in commercial business thanks to their core values and more specifically through love for the native land. They took for sale only high-quality Italian goods, so that no one could say that they don’t know a lot about delicious food in Italy. And of course, only high-quality products could last multi-days transportation. That’s why one of the members of the large family accompanied the goods to control how it would be transported and then to choose what in exchange would go to the Modena.

Wine becomes the main passion of the merchants from Emilia Romagna. They didn't buy the vineyards as many other families did but choose their own way. Visiting Italian regions, they selected quality wines and brought them for sale to Emilia Romagna. That special way incorporating the love for wine, the wide knowledge of oenology and commercial approach inspired us to create the collection of Albinelli wines. It reflects the most famous wine regions, grape varieties and wine types it’s impossible to imagine Italian winemaking without.

Taste Italy, discover Albinelli and know everything about Italians’ love for wine.
